Lifetime’s Terry McMillan Presents: Tempted 2 Love, the sequel to Terry McMillan Presents: Tempted by Love, which aired on the network last year.

Garcelle Beauvais was already on board to star and executive produce, and now Boris Kodjoe has been added to join her, and the first film’s Lela Rochon and Vaughn W. Hebron have now been set to return.

The film is a part of Beauvais’ partnership with the network as a producer.

When does ‘Terry McMillan Presents: Tempted 2 Love’ premiere?

The new film will premiere on Jan. 31 at 8 p.m. as a part of Lifetime’s Love of a Lifetime series.

Per Lifetime, Beauvais “reprises her role as Ava, a celebrated chef, who seems to have moved on from the heartbreak she suffered after encouraging Luke (Hebron), 20 years her junior, to leave the country for culinary school. Now headlining a prestigious event in scenic Portugal, Ava is accompanied by her charming new boyfriend Ellis (Kodjoe) … until fate stirs the pot. Luke, now a renowned international culinary school graduate, unexpectedly arrives with a new partner of his own, Lily (Mara Huf). As their paths cross in kitchens and castles, unresolved emotions simmer to the surface. Although both appear to have found partners who seem like perfect matches on paper, their attraction and love for each other will force them to decide once again what is best for their careers and relationship.”

The film is executive produced by D’Angela Proctor for Undaunted Content in association with Motion Entertainment, Terry McMillan, Garcelle Beauvais and Tamara T. Gregory executive produce. Chet Fenster also executive produces for Motion Entertainment. Boris Kodjoe and Vaughn W. Hebron are also producers. Roger Bobb is the direcor and Gregory wrote the script.
